Promising times for totalising Zhalala Zhululu

MASVINGO-Money bags FC Wangu Mazodze aka Zhalala Zhululu are living up to their preseason promise as they have not conceded a goal and are sharing the top spot with Midway FC after having won all their three opening matches.

The ZIFA Eastern Region Division 1 league Kingdom Boys have set their eyes on gaining promotion into the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League come next year as they are leaving no stone unturned to achieve their goal.

Last week they accounted for Bikita Minerals FC in their own backyard at Lithium Stadium with two goals coming in the second half of the match.

Speaking to The Midweek Watch Zhalala Zhululu spokesperson Sukuoluhle Ndlovu said the team is playing so well that their dream of joining the elite league next year is becoming clearer with each game.

“We are flying high and we are happy because it shows the team is improving since we have been collecting points from all the three games we have played so far especially the away games.

“We are keeping up the momentum and we want to finish the season on a high note as 2024 PSL promotion is our target. Our team is strong, the team is playing as a unit hence results are coming.

“This is a result of team work, every department is contributing to the success of the team,” said the ever smiling Zhalala Zhululu spokesperson.

Tomorrow the Kingdom Boys will face tricky Mutare City Rovers aka Gusha Bhora who once had a dance in the PSL sometime ago and the match promises to be a thriller as FC Wangu Mazodze will be banking on home support at Mucheke Stadium.

Gusha Bhora are on fourth position have played the same number of games as their hosts.
