RUTENGA-Popular Rutenga based hustler, Lucky Makamba is no more.
A close friend to the late Makamba confirmed the sad news in a telephone interview with The Midweek Watch.
He said Makamba died at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals on Thursday in the morning after a long illness.
“He has been in and out of hospital for some time and this time he had been admitted at Parirenyatwa for two consecutive weeks until the time of his death.
“We thought he would recover and come back to his usual hustling, unfortunately God had other plans. We have lost a good friend who was hard working and a friend to all,” said the close friend who could not be named a she is not authorized to speak on behalf of the family.
Makamba was a member of the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance church owned by ZIFA presidential aspirant Walter Magaya.
Although burial arrangements have not been made public yet he is most likely to be laid to rest in Rutenga.
Makamba is survived by his wife, a boy and two girls.
