Mutare – A Mutare based upcoming artist Kudzai Shanaz Mbodza, populary known as Shanaz is set to drop another amapiano banger titled Deeper, on Friday 6 December.
Shanaz is back after a successful run with her song titled Pamoyo which was released in March this year and caught the attention of viewers on YouTube and content creators who took part in a trending dance challenge of the song.
In the new song (Deeper) the songstress said she puts herself in the mind of someone who is in a happy relationship and she also narrated how she fell deep in
love with her significant other.
“I wrote this song narrating how sweet love can be if you find the right person and it is also an appreciation to the person who made me fall deep in love with him,” says Shanaz.
Deeper was produced by a Mutare based artist and producer Tr3y T3rry Obama.
Born and bred in Mutare, Shanaz attended her primary school at 3 Brigade Primary School and did her secondary education at Holy Ghost College in Bocha, Marange.
She started singing at the age of six and says she was the youngest praise and worship team member of the Baptist Church in Hobhouse and says that is when she developed her passion for singing.
In an interview with the Midweek Watch,the songstress revealed that she aspire to take her music international and also make collaborations with the famous South African amapiano Djs Kabza De Small and Dj Maporisa
