The ZIFA Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League title race has been dramatically reignited following a thrilling weekend of action that saw top contenders shuffle positions and pressure mount, with just three matches left to play.

Masvingo United FC now sit at the summit with 61 points after edging Chivhu FC 1-0 at Mucheke Stadium on Sunday.
The victory coincided with a shock 1-0 defeat for FC Hunters at the hands of relegation-threatened Renco Mine FC, a result that opened the door for the chasing pack.
Third placed Tenax Correctional Services Football Club also tightened the race, dismantling St Paul’s Musami 4-1 away from home to move within three points of the top team.

The final three fixtures for each title contender are now crucial.
Masvingo United FC: FC Hunters (A), Manica D U19 (H), Tenax CS FC (A)
