Happynest Counselling Chambers’ Drug Detoxification Boot Camp has garnered significant interest, with 40% of interested individuals confirming their participation as the program kicked off on Monday, Innocent Mataruse the organisation’s CEO told The Midweek Watch.
“Although registration updates are pending, we are encouraged by the substantial interest shown, we anticipate big numbers as program commences,” said Mataruse.
Mataruse added that registration remains open for the comprehensive detoxification program, which adopts a holistic approach to recovery, incorporating expert guidance, nutrition, and wellness guidance.
He emphasized the urgency of registration, noting that participants must sign up within the next 48 hours to secure their spot.
The boot camp’s demographic profile reveals a predominance of males between adolescence and young adulthood, a vulnerable age group severely impacted by drug addiction, added Mataruse.
“Happynest Counselling Chambers welcomes individuals from all walks of life struggling with substance abuse, our inclusive approach ensures equal opportunities for recovery, emphasizing personal willingness and commitment,” the CEO added.
Key to the program’s success is participant attitude, with genuine desire for recovery, willingness to confront underlying issues, and openness to growth and change being crucial factors.
Mataruse urged those struggling with substance abuse to seek help, emphasizing the supportive environment, expert guidance, and fresh start offered by the boot camp.
“Recovery is a journey, not a destination, we believe in our participants’ resilience and capacity for growth, you are stronger than addiction, and we’re here to support you every step of the way,” he said
