Mike Bungeni (24) was stabbed to death by armed robbers last night (23/5/25) at Ndarama High School perimeter wall while coming from Exor Complex to collect a parcel.
Another stabbing victim is reportedly battling for life at Masvingo Provincial Hospital, The Midweek has been reliably informed.
Mike Bungeni (pictured above) a civil engineering graduate at Masvingo Polytechnic College was stabbed to death at Ndarama High School on his way home to Mucheke around 9pm last night.
Masvingo Province police spokesperson, Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the incident but said he would provide the details once he has them.
Sources informed this publication that the deceased was attending church service at Jehovah’s Witness when he received a call from his father to collect a truck part at Exor.
On his way home to Mucheke, he passed through Ndarama and was stabbed on the left side between the neck and shoulder as he approached the end of the perimeter wall.
He ran back to the Ndarama gate, where he informed the security guard about the incident and gave him his father’s contact details.
The victim then walked towards the road, where he collapsed and died.
A few hours later, another victim was stabbed and sources said that he was rushed to Masvingo Provincial Hospital in critical condition.
