The high profile estate case of the estate of the late transport mogul Tanda Tavaruva aka Mhunga is far from over as the High Court postponed the matter at the request of Bishop Jeremiah Matenhese of Polka Executors Services.

High Court Judge, Justice Zisengwe, presiding over the matter, postponed the case to allow for further deliberations.
The case revolves around a dispute over the distribution of the late Tavaruva’s estate, with some family members contesting the validity of the will and the administration of the estate by the executor.
The family members, led by Pelagia Tavaruva, the widow of the late businessman, are seeking to rescind a consent order granted by the court in June last year, which awarded a lump sum maintenance of USD73 868 to Ivainashe Tavaruva, a minor child of the late Tavaruva.
The family members argue that the consent order was granted in error and without their knowledge or consent, and that it prejudices their rights and interests in the estate.
The matter has been ongoing for several months, with various family members and interested parties presenting their cases before the court.
The postponement to March 10 is expected to allow for further arguments and deliberations before a final decision is made.
Mhunga left behind farms, several properties in Masvingo City worth millions of dollars including a fleet of buses as he was touted the richest man in the ancient city.
