CHIVI-As the much anticipated Zanu PF primary elections loom following the publication of the final approved list, Chivi born, businessman and former UZ student leader, Collen Mharadzano has also thrown in his hat in the ring for the right to represent the ruling party in Chivi North.
Chivi North is ruling party stronghold since Independence and whoever gets elected in the Zanu PF primary elections is assured of being an MP come harmonised elections penciled for mid year.

Mharadzano joins incumbent Mathias Tonfofa, Chivi Rural District Council chairman, Godfrey Huruva Mukungunugwa for the right to represent the revolutionary party in the harmonised elections.
He has been criss crossing the width and breath of Chivi North soliciting for support since the primary elections date were announced two weeks ago, but were subsequently shelved to a yet to be announced date.
