FAITH NDOU
ZAKA-Namatirayi Muzenda (61), was found hanging from a tree in Chief Ndanga area.
The deceased, left her home on April 18 2026, at around 1300 hours, proceeding to an unknown destination and did not return.
According to reports, her husband, Jacob Muzenda (63), was not at home at the time she left and only returned later that night.
A search was initiated the following day with the help of fellow villagers.
At around 1000 hours, the search party discovered Muzenda’s body hanging from a muzhowa tree.
Her body was subsequently taken to Ndanga Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Masvingo Deputy Spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Masauso Patinyu, urged members of the public to provide proper care and attention to mentally challenged individuals to ensure their safety and prevent harm.
