MASVINGO -Four talented boxers from Charles Manyuchi Boxing Academy in Masvingo are set to make their mark at the prestigious Zambia Oriental Quarries boxing promotion in Lusaka on August 17.

Tatenda Biningu (21), Clever Sithole (25), Delan Kanyemba, and Evans Usayihwevhu (24) will each compete in an 8-round bout, showcasing their skills alongside teams from Benin, Tanzania, South Africa, and DRC.

Retired former world boxing champion, Charles Manyuchi, founder of the academy, expressed his confidence in his punchers, citing their passion and dedication to their craft.

“I have no doubt that my boys will make us proud, they have put in the hard work and are ready for this event to show the world what they are made of,” said Manyuchi

In a gesture of goodwill, Manyuchi sponsored four members of the Masvingo Combat Development board to attend the tournament in Zambia.

This move aims to broaden their understanding of the principles of boxing and foster growth of the sport in Masvingo Province.

The Zambia Oriental Quarries boxing promotion promises to be an exciting event, bringing together top talent from across the region.

With Manyuchi’s guidance and support, the Masvingo boxers are poised to make a lasting impression and bring glory to their academy and country.
