-Chadzamira mourns accident victims

MASHAVA-The sprawling mining township of Mashava was brought to a standstill during the funeral wake of two of the three victims of the Mandamabwe toll gate horror crash were taken to their final resting place.

Top of the range cars of various makes snaked through the dusty suburbs of the rich in minerals township for over 10km from Muganji homestead to Bere Cemetery in Mashava where Panashe Muganji (24) and Evans Kwangware (27)’s remains were interred on Sunday May 11.
Teenage mourners came from as far as Harare, Zvishavane, Shurugwi, Mutare and Mberengwa to pay their last respects to their fellow promising business people whose lives were tragically cut short.
Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Ezra Chadzamira also joined the mourners at the Muganji homestead in Masvingo West Constituency and paid tribute to the upcoming entrepreneurs who had a bright future as exhibited by their industriousness.
Chadzamira said when he received the sad news he was devastated as the young men were well known throughout the Mashava community and beyond as they were on their way to establish themselves as businessmen of note.

The Minister highlighted the significance of the youth in shaping the future of the country, emphasizing that the community had lost potential leaders. He also mentioned the government’s youth policy aimed at empowering young people to transform their lives and this was exhibited by the way the victims were taking up the opportunities availed.
Chadzamira reminded the mourners that life is short and no one will live forever and urged mourners to always look up to the Mighty God for guidance they go about their daily lives.
“Go well Evans and Panashe, you have fought a good battle and kept the promise,” concluded Chadzamira.
Panashe, Evans and Emison Mangare (21) died on the spot on May 7 when the BMW they were travelling in collided with a Flo fuel tanker near Mandamabwe toll gate in the evening.
