Marima wins big at Business Summit

MASVINGO- Business magnate Noah Marima aka Junior, who is also the principal of Junior Primary School, has scooped two prestigious accolades at the Sundrive Business Summit and Awards held last Friday in Masvingo.
Junior received the Best Entrepreneur of the Year award and the Best Private School of the Year award, marking the first such recognition for his school.
In an exclusive interview with The Midweek Watch, Marima expressed his delight and gratitude for the awards.
“These awards excite me and serve as a strong motivation. They reinforce my commitment to the efforts and contributions I make to the Masvingo community and the country at large,” he said.
Junior Primary is becoming the elementary school of choice and recently it bolstered its status by enrolling upcoming modelling senssation, Dillish Masango doing grade 1.
Dillish made headlines when she scooped gold in Miss Smiles, Miss Popularity and silver in Miss Toto at the prestigious Africa Toto competitions held in Lagos, Nigeria in April.
The event, which was graced by the Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Ezra Chadzamira, honored 34 distinguished business people from the province.
Sundrive’s director, Innocent Chenjerai, highlighted the milestone achievement of the summit.
“The Sundrive Business Summit and Awards marked our first provincial awards ceremony in Masvingo. The overwhelming response, with participants from Masvingo, Zaka, and Chiredzi, reflects the passion of our local business community. We are thrilled with the success and look forward to representing every district in the province next year,” Chenjerai said.
The business summit awards saw an impressive turnout of 100 attendees, where the local entrepreneurial talent and inspired future business excellence was celebrated.
