MBERENGWA- Magistrate Charity Tonongera has ordered a man from Chiguru Village under Chief Chingoma to perform community service for bestiality with a three-day old filly donkey.
Shadreck Magonza (37) was sentenced to six months in prison of which two months were suspended for five years. The remaining four months were suspended on condition he completes 140 hours of community service at Gwarava Pre-school.
Magonza was found in the act by the owner of the donkey, Blessing Makopa from the same village in the kraal during the night. When the Magistrate asked him why he committed the offence he responded by saying he did not know what came over him.
Prosecutor Ali Mutause told the court that on March 6, 2023 at around 11pm Magonza entered Makopa’s kraal and found a three-day old filly (female baby donkey). He mounted on it and had sexual intercourse with it by inserting his erect private part inside the genitals of filly.
Magonza was found in the act by Makopa who had gone to the kraal to check on his beasts. He found him with his pants removed and only left with a shirt and cap. Makopa reported the matter to the Police leading to Magonza’s arrest.
