MASVINGO-Kingdom Culture Church founder Apostle Allan Allans has called on people seeking healing, restoration and spiritual renewal to attend the church’s Healing Service this Sunday (7 June).
Apostle Allans said the event is designed to minister to individuals facing physical, emotional and spiritual challenges.
Speaking ahead of the service, Apostle Allans said the initiative is inspired by the biblical mandate given by Jesus Christ to heal the sick and spread the gospel.
“The vision behind the Healing Service is to minister healing to the sick through the power of God, as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ in the Scriptures,” he said.
He noted that sickness continues to affect many people in society, making it necessary for the church to provide spiritual support and prayer for those in need.
Apostle Allans explained that healing, as understood by Kingdom Culture Church, goes beyond physical recovery and encompasses emotional and spiritual well-being.
“Healing is about wholeness. We believe God desires people to be healthy spiritually, physically and emotionally,” he said.
The church leader emphasized the importance of faith in the healing process, describing it as a key principle taught throughout the Bible.
“Faith is crucial because it enables people to receive from God. It comes through hearing the Word of God and trusting in His promises,” he said.
Addressing skepticism surrounding modern healing ministries, Apostle Allans said criticism should not distract believers from the church’s mission.
“Our focus is on following the example of Jesus Christ. The most effective response is to continue ministering and allowing people to experience genuine transformation in their lives,” he said.
To promote accountability, Apostle Allans said the church works with health professionals who assist in verifying certain healing testimonies before they are publicly shared.
He expressed hope that this service would bring restoration to many individuals and help them regain hope, strength and well-being.
“We want to see people restored and living healthy lives again,” he said.
The service is expected to feature worship, prayer, deliverance and prophetic ministry, with organisers encouraging attendees to come expectant and open to God’s intervention.
“We have prepared a spiritually charged atmosphere of worship and prayer. We believe people will encounter God’s power in different ways,” said Apostle Allans.
The church has extended an open invitation to all members of the public regardless of age, social status or background.
“Everyone is welcome. Whether young or old, rich or poor, anyone in need of prayer can attend,” he said.
Despite challenges such as limited resources, public skepticism and other obstacles encountered while organising large gatherings, Apostle Allans said the church remains committed to reaching as many people as possible through the ministry of healing.
Looking beyond this year’s event, he said the long-term goal is to expand the impact of the Healing Service and minister to more people across different communities.
For those who may still be uncertain about attending, Apostle Allans offered a simple message of encouragement.
“Jesus loves you and desires the best for your life. Trust in Him and allow Him to work in your situation,” he said.
The healing service is expected to draw worshippers from Masvingo and surrounding areas seeking prayer, healing and spiritual renewal.
