Junior High posts 100% pass rate Cambridge ‘A’Level

Masvingo City– For the second time on the bounce, newly established Junior High School in Masvingo City recorded a 100% pass rate in the 2024 A Level Cambridge examinations and is among the best performing in the province.

 The A Level Cambridge results have just been released to the candidates and they are available on the body’s portal.

Junior High School is a private college owned by Masvingo prominent businessman Noah Marima and it was established in 2022 and is located in the leafy suburb of Rhodene along Harare Road.

Thirty five students set for the prestigious Cambridge and 20 were girls and 15 boys.

The student with the highest points got 24 and set for Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Physics in the 2024 examinations.

In interview with The Midweek Watch Marima said that Junior High School commended the teachers, parents and students for working hard to produce the impressive results.

‘’I am elated with these results. The quality of our results this year exceeds the previous year. We can now compete with the giants. Our moto at JHS is “kazen,’’ meaning we keep improving.

‘’ A huge shout out to our hard working teachers and our esteemed parents for the support all the way. We promise to deliver the best,’’ said Marima.

Meanwhile the incoming school head, Stern Mutsambiwa’s work is cut out for him as he is expected to maintain the standards set or surpass them.
