MIDLANDS – Gweru based Castle Lager Premier Soccer League outfit Sheasham FC will use the remaining two matches as make-or-break encounters as to avoid relegation in their maiden dance in top flight football.
Construction Boys had hoped for better fortunes in their last encounter but were held to a 2-all draw by visiting ZPC Kariba at Bata Stadium on Saturday.
As it stands, Sheasham are14th on the log table with 35 points from 32 outings. They have registered seven wins, 14 draws and 11 losses.
The Construction Boys date Black Rhinos FC this weekend in a must-win encounter for both teams as Chauya Chipember is also fighting relegation. ZPC Kariba FC and Triangle United FC are also swimming in the murky waters of relegation.
To sign off the season, Sheasham will lock horns with FC Platinum in a Midlands derby.
The Construction Boys started the season on a low note with then head coach John Nyikadzino registering a single win in as many matches. They had to rope in Lizwe Sweswe who brought some stability to the team with some crucial wins which have moved them to 14th position on the log table.
