His Holiness Pope Leo XIV has appointed Rev. Fr Patrick Ngwenya, from the clergy of Harare, until now Parish Priest at St Francis Xavier, Braeside and Diocesan Coordinator for the Family and Marriage Commission, as Bishop of Chinhoyi.
Father Ngwenya was born on 1st February 1967 in Mutare. He was ordained priest on 25 August 2007.
