MASVINGO – Flamesteel Engineering Pvt Ltd has won Silver Industrialist of the Year Award at the Megafest Business Awards held at Urban Lifestyle Hotel on July 17, marking a significant milestone for the Masvingo-based engineering company.
The company, located at Plot 15 Mucheke Light Industrial Site, described the accolade as its first-ever award, with director Irvine Mutizwa expressing delight over the recognition, saying it reflects the company’s commitment to excellence and quality service.
“We are excited and honoured to receive our first business award. This recognition motivates us to continue providing quality services to our clients and to contribute to Zimbabwe’s industrial development,” said Mutizwa.
Flamesteel Engineering Pvt Ltd specialises in civil, electrical and construction engineering. The company also offers earthmoving services and hires out heavy plant equipment, including yellow machines used in major infrastructure and construction projects.
In the Industrialist of the Year category, Platinum was won by Taurai Mudzviti of Jurifin Investments, Gold went to Norman Mwazha of Instant Save Construction, while the Diamond Award, the highest honour, was scooped by Dr Noah Marima of Junior Holdings.
The Megafest Business Awards recognise businesses and entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence, innovation and contribution to Zimbabwe’s economic development.
