MIDLANDS – The previous years the ZIFA Midlands Province Division 2A league has been characterised with either a Gweru or Mberengwa derby however 2025 has begun with a bang as they have added a Shurugwi derby in their line up.
Shurugwi FC who are perennial campaigners in the league will seek to continue their positive start to the new season as they take on new boys Shurugwi South FC on Sunday at Makusha stadium.
Shurugwi FC are favorites as they have four points from two games whilst their opponents are yet to collect a point from as many matches.
Another match to watch is between Black Eagles and Siwawa at Simbi Stadium while Mberengwa based Great Dyke Fc is on bye.
