Eulogy for Ruvimbo Makurira, Sunrise 23/01/1981, Sunset 28/12/2024

Ruvimbo was a guiding light to everyone around her. She loved fiercely and deeply—her love for family, friends, and all those she encountered knew no bounds.

To Ruvimbo, family was not just blood; it was a bond that she cherished above all else. She would give of herself without hesitation, always ready to lend a hand, offer an ear, or share a kind word.

But beyond her love for us here on earth, Ruvimbo’s love for God and His gospel was unwavering. From a young age, she was passionate about her faith, and as she grew, that passion only deepened. She embraced the teachings of Christ with every fiber of her being. Through every trial and triumph, Ruvimbo remained steadfast in her belief. Her faith was not just something she professed with her mouth, but something she lived daily.

Ruvimbo faced difficulties—moments in life that tested her in ways many of us will never understand. But through it all, she was a pillar of strength. She walked through some of the darkest times with a prayerful heart, never losing her focus on God. She knew the power of prayer, and she relied on it in times of joy and in times of sorrow. She was a prayer warrior.

Her prayers weren’t just words. They were heartfelt conversations with God, filled with gratitude, humility, and surrender. She prayed for all of us—for our health, for our happiness, for our peace. She believed deeply in the power of God’s grace to heal, to restore, and to carry us through.

Ruvimbo’s life was not without its struggles, but her faith remained unshaken. She taught us all the true meaning of Endurance. She showed us what it means to trust in God, even when the road ahead seems uncertain. And, just as she lived with unwavering faith, so too did she face the end of her earthly journey with that same steadfastness, knowing that she was about to go home—to her eternal home in heaven.

Ruvimbo is no longer in pain, no longer struggling. She is with her Savior, in a place of perfect peace and rest. Her journey on this earth may have ended, but her legacy of love, faith, and prayer will live on in each one of us.Her spirit—her love for family, her devotion to God, her prayerfulness—and honor are written in our memories her memory .
Thiis not the end for Ruvimbo, She is at home, and though our hearts may ache with loss, we can rejoice in knowing that we will one day be reunited with her in that heavenly place where there is no more sorrow, no more pain, only eternal joy in the presence of God.

Ruvimbo, our dear sister, friend, colleague,daughter you fought the good fight, you finished the race, and you kept the faith. We will miss you dearly, but we are comforted by the knowledge that you are safe in the arms of Jesus.
