MASVINGO CITY-The Masvingo Roman Catholic Church Diocese, Don Bosco Parish is set to celebrate its 80th anniversary on Saturday the 30th of August 2025, marking eight decades of evangelism, community building and spiritual growth.
The celebration will bring together members of the church, invited churches and members of the Masvingo community to reflect on the journey that began way back in 1945.
The event will be graced by Masvingo Diocese head, Bishop Raymond Mpandasekwa.
The parish will also celebrate the role of Don Bosco Primary and Pre School in nurturing children through faith based education.
Speaking to The Midweek Watch, Don Bosco Parish Chairman Collen Maboke said the event is a significant milestone for the church and an opportunity to honour all those who have contributed to the growth of the parish over the years.
