Decolonising our Minds-We will respect ourselves

Date:

If we come to know ourselves-Decolonising our Minds-We will respect ourselves, Our People and Our Countries and Race-Africans..✊🏿

KENNETH DUMBURA

‘A soldier without any political or ideological training is a potential criminal in Africa’🤔…. President Thomas Sankara🫡

This is what has caused political and social chaos in Africa for this long.

Inherited former colonial armies were trained to oppress indigenous communities through brutal force…💥

When political independence was gained and granted there was no reorientation for our Military forces from being forces of oppression to agencies of service. There was no paradigm shift at all in their loyalty and allegiance from the former imperial colonial powers to the new ‘Independent’ political states of Africa due to many factors, like the continued training of armed forces and the supply of military hardware by the former colonial powers, lack of articulated and defined indigenous ideology, or indigenous ideologies, etc. etc. made the men with guns in Africa a menace…

I was discussing this with someone. Our people don’t know themselves. The poor man was clothed in police uniform by the rich to oppress his fellow poor man (poor masses).😢

Remember all those who died during all the Protests, the same people they died for voted the same politicians who ordered their killings.

Just imagine the Patrice Lumumba, Kwame Nkrumah, Milton Obote, Laurent Kabila, Robert Gabriel Mugabe cases of forced removal from office. The same people we trust with security prove that they can be manipulated…

My Brothers & Sisters we don’t know ourselves, we are totally lost as a people….
