MASVINGO RURAL-German Wisdom Tichazorwa, the Ward 20 Councilor in Masvingo Central, has demonstrated his commitment to improving education in the constituency by making a generous donation to Chirichoga High School.

The school, located 25 kilometers from Masvingo town and 11 kilometers from Morgenster Teachers College, serves a catchment area for Boroma, Nemazuwa, Makasi Bhani, and Zero Farm.

Tichazorwa, who has been involved in opposition politics since joining the MDC in 1999, has initiated a series of donations for the two government-owned high schools and three primary schools within the ward.

The recent donation to Chirichoga High School consisted of 100 English text books.

Rudo Kwaramba, a child Member of Parliament, expressed the school community’s deep gratitude for being the first to receive the councilor’s support.

“We are very grateful to be the first ones to be remembered amongst the several schools that are a responsibility to our councilor, and just know that our education is their concern,” Kwaramba said.

Kwaramba added that the councilor’s dedication to fostering a strong educational foundation for local youth in the ward will enhance the community’s development.

She stated that the initiative sets an example for other wards to follow, ensuring that education remains a top priority for the Province.
