BULAWAYO-Leading medical insurance company, Cimas formerly (Commercial and Industrial Medical Aid Society) Health Group has announced massive expansion of health care and wellness services in Matebeleland region.
Cimas chief executive officer, Vulindlela Ndlovu told The Midweek Watch that the expansion started with the opening of a state-of-the-art dental unit that offers comprehensive dental services to patients.
He said the medical insurer targets to provide “global standard health and wellness solutions” as well as enhancing accessibility and quality of care in the Matebeleland region.
“By investing in state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge equipment, Cimas Health Group aims to meet the evolving needs of the community and deliver exceptional care to patients in the Matabeleland region.
“This addition to Cimas Health Group’s facilities in the Matabeleland region allows individuals and families to receive top-notch dental care in a convenient and comfortable environment,” said Ndlovu.
He said the refurbished medical laboratory, meets the highest international standards where accurate and efficient diagnostic services for patients are provided.
He added that “the modernisation of the medical laboratory will enable faster turnaround times and improved accuracy in test results”.
Cimas has also been actively expanding the wellness benefits that members can receive in the region.
These include the iGo, Cimas’ wellness division which has brought value partners like Muscles and Curves on board, to offer Cimas members discounts when accessing their gym.
The partnerships which health insurer said can lead its members to healthier lives with the burden of costs alleviated.
Currently, Cimas is covering over 245,000 lives across the country.
