Chizondo Christian High School in Bikita has achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate in the 2024 A-level ZIMSEC examinations with all 17 learners who sat for the exams passing with quality grades.
Mutengu Casper, the school head said this outstanding feat marks a significant improvement from last year’s results, where only two pupils scored 14 points and the lowest score was 8 points. In contrast, this year’s results saw one male learner scoring an impressive 15 points in History, Shona, and Family and Religious Studies.
According to the head, six learners achieved 14 points, while two learners scored 13 points. The lowest score was 9 points, a notable improvement from last year.
“We are thrilled to have achieved a 100% pass rate, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our learners, teachers, and administration team, I am proud to say that these results are a record for our school, and we give all the glory to God for guiding us,” he said.
The new head who joined the school just a year ago, attributed the school’s success to the teamwork among staff, dedicated staff, visionary leadership, and the support of parents.
