MASVINGO – Vice President Rtd General Constantino Chiwenga is set to grace the installation of the newly appointed Masvingo Diocese Roman Catholic Church, The Right Reverend Bishop Raymond Tapiwa Mupandasekwa this Saturday.
Masvingo Diocese Education Secretary, Father Samson Mutsvanga confirmed the development to The Midweek Watch.
The installation is going to be held at Gokomere Mission.
Bishop Mupandasekwa was appointed as the new Bishop of Masvingo Diocese by the Roman Catholic Church’s Pope Francis.
Masvingo Diocese had no substantive Bishop since the resignation of Bishop Micheal Bhasera last year after serving the diocese for 23 years.
Archbishop Robert Ndlovu was the apostolic administrator for Masvingo since 2022.
