Police in Chinhoyi have arrested, Lloyd Gwenhere (32), in connection with the brutal murder of Munyaradzi Shumba (9) at Chogi Farm on June 8.
Gwenhere was allegedly seen assaulting the child after the boy reportedly allowed cattle to stray onto his field.
National Spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said that Munyaradzi’s stomach had been ripped open, his neck and left hand were cut, and his private parts were missing.
The victim, was discovered dead under horrific circumstances, The Mid-week Watch has learnt.
Gwenhere was arrested by the Chinhoyi Police.
