MASVINGO CITY-As Masvingo City’s Charles Austin Theatre is now under new management, the team has announced its arrival by hosting the hugely popular Masvingo Got Talent Show over the weekend.

For sure another opportunity has arisen for the diversely gifted and talented artists as Charles Austin Theatre has announced that they are hosting the Masvingo Got Talent show audition on the 27th, 28th and 29th of July with the finals slated for August 5.  

The talent show audition will accommodate artists of all ages, young and old who want to showcase varying talents from singing, acing, poetry, dancing, comedy, drawing, painting among others.

The registration fee is just US$2 for single acts and US$5 for group acts. There is prize money of R10 000 to be won after the adjudication.

“We invite all those who want to showcase their talents to come and participate because this is an opportunity to be seen, to be part of the Masvingo theater and arts directory, maybe this is your break through you will never know till you try and the competition is not limited to the usual type of acts only we even expect surprises, we are not limiting people to what we know and lastly anyone with talent can qualify since there are no age restrictions as long as its talent’” said the public relations officer for  the Charlse Austin Theatre Committee, Emmanuel Simon Sakala.

“For the audition between 27 and 29 July we are not allowing an audience, however on the finals which are on the 5th of August an audience is invited to watch at a charge to be announced but it will be very cheap, because we want people to come in their numbers and enjoy,” added Sakala.
