Masvingo Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Ezra Chadzamira has assured the public of peace and tranquility despite threats through social media by former Zanu PF Central Committee member Runesu Bombshell Geza of an uprising on March 31.

Chadzamira emphasized that people should go about their daily business as usual, assuring them of their safety as all security systems are ready to deal with any eventuality.
He said this during a brief press conference at his Benjamin Burombo offices in the company of the joint operations command (JOC) members on March 29 in the morning.
The Minister stressed that it should be business as usual as students, traders, and workers should not be deterred from attending school or work on March 31.
He also issued a stern warning that anyone found inciting violence will be dealt with accordingly.
Bombshell is demanding that President Mnangagwa should resign as he has allegedly presided over a corrupt regime which is bleeding the economy.
