A plane carrying Vice President Saulos Chilima is currently unaccounted for. Authorities from his office and authorities are actively trying to locate him.
According to online reports, Chilima was en route to Mzuzu, where he was supposed to travel on to Nkhata Bay for the burial of the late Ralph Kasambala.
Principal Secretary of Vice President’s office, Lucky Sikwese has just confirmed that the plane carrying VP Chilima has not landed at any of the country’s airports as expected after failing to land in Mzuzu due to bad weather and authorities are searching for the plane.
