Mt Darwin- Highlanders FC aka Bosso retained the Uhuru Cup after beating Dynamos on the bounce 5-3 in a penalty shoot in Mt Darwin today after the match ended nil all in regulation time.
Despite Bosso being reduced to 10 men in the 32nd minute after Andrew Mbeda was dismissed for a foul on on a Dynamos player, the oldest club in the country went home with bragging rights as they pumped all their 5 penalties past Dembare goalie.
Meanwhile Highlanders are this weekend expected to clash with Yadah FC at the National Sports in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter.
