ZVISHAVANE – Mimosa Mine Social Soccer League log leaders Boltrec FC overcame the in form FC Holding 2-1 to cement their position at the summit of the log after 10 rounds of matches.
They top the table with 26 points three points ahead of second placed Plant FC who have a game in hand despite winning 1-0 at the weekend over Assets FC.
Loss Control FC are in contention for the title race after securing a convincing 3-1 over early pace setters in Estates who have seen themselves languishing in eighth place.
Community FC after holding Champions MHL FC to a nil all draw are fourth with 19 points and their opponents in fifth with 18 points.
FC Holding despite the loss are sixth with 17 points having played a game lesser a point ahead of seventh placed Ventilation who also drew nil all against Transport FC.
Supply Chain FC were the biggest victors on matchday 10 after thumping Mining South FC 4-0 to secure position 10 on the log.
Copper Kettle FC registered its second win of the season after beating Mine Planning FC 1-0 but are yet to be out of the relegation zone with seven points from nine games one behind 17th placed Mining South FC.
Mine Planning now anchor the table with no wins in 10 games just two draws in their name and are two points behind 19th placed Mining North FC who lost 2-1 to Projects FC.
A total of 21 goals were scored on matchday 10 in the social league meant to keep workers entertained and in good shape.
