BIKITA- As part of efforts to improve quality and effective delivery of education in Bikita West Constituency, the area legislator Daniel Makusha has sourced essential accessories for all learners in his constituency.

The stationary comprising of pens, pencils, rulers, mathematical sets among others has brought relief to disadvantaged leaners who were facing challenges in accessing learning materials.
Speaking during Zanu PF victory celebrations held at Makotore Business Centre, Makusha said each student across the constituency will receive the learning accessories ensuring that those who will be sitting for their examinations are well -equipped.
“This initiative is a testament to my commitment as the Member of Parliament to support the education and development of our children.
“I believe that every child deserves access to quality education, and I am proud to play a role in making that a reality. I would like to extend my gratitude to our teachers for their tireless efforts in shaping the minds of our future leaders,” he said.
He also urged parents and guardians to continue supporting their children’s education, emphasizing its crucial role in their development.
“Together we can build a bright future for our children and our community.
“As such, I am rolling out this initiative and I will make sure that all our leaners across Bikita West Constituency are well equipped,” he said.
He promised to continue mobilising resources to address the needs of community members while promoting their welfare, thanking them for voting for President Mnangagwa, himself and councillors in the 2023 harmonised elections.
With some students preparing to sit for their exams, the Member of Parliament said they can now do so with confidence, knowing that they have the necessary tools to succeed.
According to the legislator, the story of education was always written together with a teacher who believes, a leader who share resources and provide guidelines, a parent who encourages and a child who dares to dream.
The Member of Parliament urged parents and teachers to make use of the educational materials donated to light the fire of curiosity and make reading and writing part of their homes for the pupils.
Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament is also constructing a Community Hall in Ward 32 in a move to promote local developments.
He has also rolled out poultry projects to empower women across Bikita West Constituency.
