ZVISHAVANE- Bethany Project in conjunction with Oxfam is set to implement Building Resilient Inclusive Communities in Zimbabwe a new program that is meant to identify the vulnerability of rural livelihood systems.
The program is set to have it’s inception tomorrow ( Tuesday, August 1, 2023) at Runde Lodge.
This was confirmed to Midweek Watch Bethany Projects’ Programs Officer Tatenda Rukanda.
The project is meant to focus on identifying the vulnerability of rural livelihood systems to climate shocks as one of the major problems that needs to be addressed to achieve resilience. They will also be focusing on Nexus programming an approach that will bring together humanitarian development.
Rukanda said the inception meeting will also include aspects such as prioritizing gender equality and climate action.
” We are embarking on a new brick alongside Oxfam and we will be having an inception meeting tomorrow with stakeholders “, she said.
