Life is not meant to be just for passing time. Life is an adventure, a challenge, an invitation to BECOME rather than an accident we have to BE.
Investing is the preparation for the unseen future. Planning your future and expand your growth. If you are not willing to invest in your own growth how can you expect someone else to invest in you? Your parents invest in your education, so itÂ’s your time to invest for your future as you are one of the leaders of tomorrow. It is your parentsÂ’ responsibility to give you pocket money but it is your responsibility to become rich. It was also your parentsÂ’ responsibility to give birth to you but it is your responsibility to give birth to generations.
You must be willing to invest money by attending workshops, buy books, doing some research and to get materials that empower you to greatness. Anything valuable will need you to invest effort in order to get it. Reading will leads you to greatness as you will learn new ideas. ItÂ’s not only students who have to read, every person must read and learn new things as there is a rapid change due to technology. Someone once remarked that if you want to hide anything from most people just put it in black and white. If you want to see what a person is becoming, just look at the books, people whom he\she associate with and the materials they feed their mind with. If you do not pursue knowledge and wisdom, you will never progress to the next stage in your life. A mentor is just there to assist in channeling your direction\path, not to show you where to go.
Jim Rohn once said,” Ignorance is NOT bliss. Ignorance is poverty. Ignorance is devastation. Ignorance is tragedy. Ignorance is illness. It all stems from ignorance”. Ignorance usually leads to arrogance.
Arrogance can also lead to ignorance; do not be smart for knowledge. If you are a pig at least be smart enough to handle the pearls if they are thrown to you. You may be low in the pecking order but if you acquire knowledge you will reach the top.
