MIDLANDS – Five Guinea Fowl High School soccer players have been selected into the Zimbabwe U17 national team after an impressive showing at the recently held NASH competitions in Chinhoyi.

The five players are Michael Mhuri,Arnold Denhere, Christian Mpande, Shelton Karuva and Brian karipi.
Of the five they play center back, left back, left wing, center forward and right back respectively.
Guinea Fowl was representing the Midlands province at the national finals where they lost in the semi finals to Gutu via a penalty shootout after a one all draw in regulation time.
Speaking to The Midweek Watch Guinea Fowl coach Jatson Maphosa said his team played well as shown by the players being selected for the national team.
Zezani was crowned champions after beating Gutu 5-4 on penalties.
