Insp Dhewa said the vehicle veered off the road to the left side, overturned 3 times, and landed on its wheels.
Two passengers, a female and a male, succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the accident.
“Another male passenger was rushed to Ngundu Clinic, where he was pronounced dead on arrival,” added Insp Dhewa.
He said three passengers survived the accident with injuries, one is in critical condition, while the other two are in a stable state.
The police added that the silver Toyota Hiace was extensively damaged on the front, as well as the roof, and has been taken to Ngundu for inspection by the Vehicle Inspection Department (VID).
