GWERU-Two people died on the spot whilst 29 escaped with varying injuries when a Yutong bus hit a Toyota Hilux and landed by its side along Bulawayo Road.
The accident occurred on July 30, 2024 at around 4:30pm.
According to the police, the Toyota Hilux, driven by Majana Dube, experienced a tire burst, causing the vehicle to swerve.
The Yutong bus then hit the Hilux, pushing it off the road.
The bus carrying forty-eight passengers subsequently landed on its left side.
