They hold a one-point lead over second-placed Mandava United, who drew 1-1 with Ezinkulu Academy.
Despite their loss, FC Pote sit in third place with 56 points, holding a one-point advantage over fourth-placed ZTC, who secured a 3-0 win over MSU.
At the other end of the table, Nil Academy remain rooted to the bottom and face the risk of relegation from the league.
