RUTENGA-Wisdom and Knowledge Academy, a private secondary school at Rutenga Growth Point is the new kid on the block after opening its doors to the public beginning of this year.
The institution which has joined the fray in offering secondary education is located in the Commercial Business Center, at the famous immaculate Styles Complex.
Wisdom and Knowledge Academy is poised to be a major game changer at Rutenga Growth Point given its determination and zeal to succeed.
In a wide-ranging interview with The Midweek Watch the Principal of Wisdom and Knowledge Academy, Ellen Vilengalenga revealed the trajectory which the organization is geared to partake.
“We have started small, but we promise to offer the best education in Rutenga as we market our brand,” said an ambitious Vilengalenga.
The ambitious educational institution already boasts of an enrollment of 100 learners for form one and two. This might be a testimony of the trust which parents in Rutenga have bestowed on the new school which also has branches in Chitungwiza and Kuwadzana in Harare.
“Our enrollment is now close to one hundred and we are still enrolling, we are proud to share with the community that we are building on our successes in Chitungwiza and Kuwadzana as we spread our influence to Rutenga”.
Wisdom and Knowledge Academy has an arsenal of highly qualified teachers with the majority of them being holders of University Educational Degrees.
“Our staff is highly qualified, tried and tested. There is no doubt, they will have the job done,” shared Vilengalenga.
In an effort to spice up its educational menu, Wisdom and Knowledge Academy, promises a variety of co-curricular activities adding to the traditional soccer and netball. “We are not here to offer the obvious. We are the new and the new we offer. Yes our learners know soccer and netball but why not introduce tennis and cricket,” weighed in the Principal.
Wisdom and Knowledge Academy also promises to exploit the merits in educational tours as it looks forward to make education interesting and entertaining through exposing pupils to reality.
“Educational tours have proved to be important vehicles in linking theory to reality hence the need for us to embrace them,” shared Vilengalenga.
“A good beginning foretells a bright future……given the determination which has been shown by Knowledge and Wisdom Academy from the beginning, Rutenga is destined for an enriched educational journey as Knowledge and Wisdom Academy rolls out knowledge and wisdom,” said one parent whose child is enrolled at the new school.
