MIDLANDS- TelOne FC aka Wi-Fi Boys’ vision of gaining promotion this season is moving in the right direction after securing a morale boosting away 2-0 victory against ZPC Munyati FC.

The win means the Gweru based side are top of the Ruvimbo Funeral ZIFA Central Region Division One log with 39 points from their 15 games played.

They lead second placed Tongogara by six points.

TelOne narrowly missed promotion last season to Gweru club Sheasham FC and they have set a target of playing in the elite league come next year.

The mission is seemingly going according to plan as they haven’t lost a game this season, having won 12 and drew three from their 15 games. They have scored 30 goals and conceded only five showing their prowess in attack and masterclass defending.

However, they have stiff competition from the army side Tongogara who are still to lose a match this season but are six points behind having won their last match against CM Academy 3-0.

TelOne gaffer Tendai Chikuni once highlighted that the club has a vision to gain promotion this season and that is what they are aiming for.
