We don’t feel safe!

Date:

Girls are disproportionately affected by sexual exploitation and manipulation, especially by men with bad intentions.

As young women, we don’t feel safe in our society, CBD and schools. We should not have to fear for our safety when we walk home alone. We should not have to worry about being followed or harassed when we are out in public. We should not have to accept that sexual harassment or violence is just a part of life for a young woman.

We need to feel safe around our fathers, brothers, schoolmates, friends and boyfriends as well. We want to be valued for our minds and our characters, not for our physical appearances. We deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.

Please hear our plea, we are still young!!!
