VP Mohadi to headline Vision 2030 Movement PPP interface

MASVINGO CITY-Vice President Kembo Mohadi is set to address the Vison 2030 Movement public private enterprises youth interface luncheon at the imposing newly established state of the art Urban Lifestyle Hotel in Morningside, Masvingo.

The national interface, the second to be held in Masvingo Province is meant to encourage young people to participate in nation building in all sectors of the economy, Brien Chizororo the Vision 2030 Movement national administrator told The Midweek Watch.

“This is the fifth national event towards the Vision 2030 and the second one in Masvingo Province, we held other similar events in Harare and Bulawayo which were attended by the President Dr E.D. Mnangagwa.

“The forthcoming luncheon will be held under the theme ‘Competitive Neutrality, the Contribution of Business and Industry to the Attainment of Vision 2030 Agenda’. The luncheon meeting will be held on Saturday 18th of November at 11am at Urban Lifestyles Hotel and Conference Centre in Masvingo. The Guest Speaker is the Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Honourable Cde Rtd Col K.C.D. Mohadi.

 “This premier event brings together delegates from the public and private sector, captains of industry, members of the civil service, young people from various sectors, business professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs and those in the SME’s.

“The meeting is a tremendous opportunity for your organization to meet and network with other business leaders who are championing the vision for a middle income economy by 2030,” said Chizororo.

Vision 2030 Movement is a lobby group by young people working to bridge the divide among youths from different economic backgrounds in pursuit of bringing about development towards a prosperous middle income society by 2030.

The movement was established in 2019 and is headquartered in Mt Pleasant, Harare.

Other speakers on the day are Minister of State Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Minister of Information Communication Technology Postal and Courrier Services, Tatenda Mavetera, Minister of State in Office of President and Cabinet for Skills Audit and Development, Professor Paul Mavima.

 Minister of Local Government and Public Works, Winston Chitando, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Sthembiso Nyoni and Deputy Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, Kudakwashe Mnangagwa will also address the gathering.
