MASVINGO-Veteran energetic dancing queen, Nollen Sifelani aka Zoey has promised to set the sleepy Sisk community ablaze as she celebrates her birthday with a performance in the ancient city this Sunday.

Zoey who is supported by the Red Angels has promised to keep fans on their toes as she will be out to reclaim her position as the best in the country on the dance floor.

Her gyrating dancing moves, the last time she performed in the ancient city left revelers clamoring for more as she left nothing to imagination with fans drooling, shoving and pushing each other to have better sight of the vivacious dancing queen.

To curtain raise the Red Angels will be Daniel Chandimhara aka Mr Candy originally from Masvingo, but now Harare domiciled.

Tickets are already on sale at Madenhe pegged at USD$3 and fans have been advised to buy in advance to avoid disappointments.

Manhede Club manager Takunda Mufuvi popularly known as Teekay Chibaba in the entertainment circles told The Midweek Watch that Zoey and Mr Candy’s performance is just the beginning of bigger and better things to come for the Sisk and Masvingo community.

Chibaba also said they are bringing live shows to the people as a way of shaking off the COVID-19 hangover which affected the entertainment industry more than any other sector.

“This is our second live performance at the club after Tocky Vibez (Obey Makamure) and the plan is to bring more and bigger artists to the joint which fast becoming the premier entertainment centre in the high density areas of Masvingo.

“We will be doing shows at the end of each month and the next month we will play host to Winky D (Wallace Chirumiko). We have been badly affected by Corona Virus and we want to restore and bring back our reputation as well as reviving that spirit of having fun in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

“We promise our patrons that the price of beers will remain the same, very affordable, we will not be like other joints where prices change when there is a live band,” said Chibaba.

In an interview with The Midweek Watch Zoey promised a full package of performance and encouraged fans to behave in a mature way.

“Our performance will speak for itself, it is not time to brag but I want to encourage Masvingo to come in numbers because I never disappoint. Of course, I am finding my feet after the pandemic closure but it is promising, all the shows I have done recently were sold out. Last week we were in Shamva it was a full house, the reception was good and people loved it. And maybe people should not worry about their safety.

“There will be maximum security as all my shows have been very peaceful and I love it, we prioritise the safety of our fans as they are the reason why we exist,” said Zoey.
