I never thought of it;
Everyone never imagined it;
I was utterly shocked;
They remained mum
It was an end ugly
We embraced;
We formed a strong strong bond;
We gave all we had;
We became more than a family;
Covering each other’s back
Those in diaspora were suspicious;
They allowed us;
It was a straight line thus;
Outside we looked alike;
We also said ‘mara neh’
Even at home they saw us in unison;
We sent randa;
But boasted as them;
We forgot our dusty roads;
Some hired posches to christmas
It was jealousy;
Brethran were hungry;
We became foes;
Tyres, ropes and sjambocks;
Pushed wantomly;
Confiscated our little asserts;
Empty handed we left;
In a huff;
We became chuff;
Some died!
An ugly and bitter end;
Memories will remain;
Printed in red;
Back to square one!
What will be tomorrow?
Brothers or sisters?
You know better!
