MASVINGO – Police in Harare are investigating a case whereby a taxi driver, Takudzwa Sherpherd Zvoushe(26) was found dead in a Honda Fit in Harare The Midweek Watch can report.
This was confirmed on Zimbabwe Republic Police X account where they stated that the vehicle was parked along a dust road which links Robert Mugabe Highway and Harare-Bulawayo road on 4 March, 2024.
It is stated that the deceased had a red electric cable tied around his neck and investigations are in progress.
Meanwhile, a yet to be identified male adult was found floating along Limpopo River near Museche Forward police base on the 4th of March.
The body of the victim had two gunshot wounds on the head and investigations are still underway.
In the same bulletin the police in Glenview are investigating a case of murder which occurred at Glenview 4 shopping centre, Harare on 4 March, 2024 in which Geodricks Mushonga(33) died.
The deceased was allegedly assaulted by six unidentified male suspects during a beer drinking spree following an argument over an undisclosed matter.
The body of the victim was later found lying in a pool of blood at a nearby bus terminus with a deep cut at the back of the head and the police appeals to anyone with information to report at any nearest police station.
