There was pandemonium and commotion as residents were sent in all directions fearing for their lives after a man wielding a machete went on a rampage attacking anyone in sight in Rujeko suburb yesterday evening.
Residents who spoke to The Midweek Watch said that, as they were walking home from work they saw a machete wielding man chasing after anyone he sees along the footpath forcing them to walk in groups of 10 or 15 as they feared for their lives.
Masvingo Province acting police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Patinyu Masauso said he is contacting the Rujeko station to find out if anyone reported the issue.
