Progress Christian College founder Luxon Dhegwa has died

GWERU- Prominent Gweru businessman and Progress Christian College founder Luxon Dhegwa has died.

The late Luxon Dhegwa.

He was 62.

Dhegwa passed on last night.

Calvin Dhegwa the son to the late confirmed the death and said that burial arrangements will be announced in due course.

“Yes, my father has passed away and we are shocked by his untimely departure.  We are yet to establish the cause of the death. Funeral arrangements will be updated, ” he said .

 Dhegwa a teacher by profession was born in 1963 in Buhera, Chitsunge village and worked in Mberengwa, Lower Gweru and at Matinunura High School before retiring in 2007.

He went on to establish Progress Christian College and later on constructed a school in Mkoba 14.

 He also established a boarding facility that started enrolling this year.

He is survived by his wife Mucha Dhegwa, three children and four grandchildren. Mourners are gathered at his plot in Lingfield Gweru.
