MASVINGO-Rising modelling sensation Dillish Makatendeka Masango, reigning second runner up Miss ToTo Africa, has donated pads to pupils at Masvingo rural based Sikato Primary school through her Princess Dillish Foundation.

Dillish gifted 200 Sikato grade 6 and 7 girls with sanitary pads including a few others from her former school, Victoria Junior Primary.

This gesture brought joy and relief to the learners as witnessed by their wide smiles on their faces.

According to her mother, Rumbidzai Chisangowerotah, Dillish has always had a heart of giving, which led to the formation of the foundation last year.

The foundation has received support from wellwishers, but they hope to secure partners soon to grow the foundation.

She explained that Sikato Primary School was chosen due to its location and most the learners do not afford sanitary pads, while Victoria Junior was selected as it is where she used to learn emphasizing that charity begins at home.

Dillish expressed her enthusiasm for the experience, saying, “It was wonderful, I met new friends and learned a lot through this charity program.”

This donation marks the beginning of Dillish’s philanthropic work, with plans to reach more schools next term.

Her selflessness and dedication to helping those in need serve as an inspiration to others, demonstrating the positive impact one person can have in their community.
