ZVISHAVANE-The Premier Netball League (PNL) returns to action this weekend with bubble matches set for Harare and Marondera on October 7, chairperson Sarudzai Chapo has confirmed.

The PNL was last in action on September 16 in Chisumbanje where three teams participated.

Champions Platinum Queens are currently at the summit of the table, but are facing stiff competition from Greenfuel and Ngezi.

In the last bubble, Ngezi suffered a 39-30 loss to Greenfuel before another 37-34 loss to ZDF.

The results meant Platinum Queens who were off duty  are still at the summit with 58 points from 30 games.

They lead second placed Greenfuel by six points however the Chisumbanje based side still has three games in hand as they have played 27 games.

Ngezi slipped to third position with 52 points but still have a game to play.

Platinum Queens, Ngezi and Greenfuel all stand a good chance to land the title as they separated by few points at the top, while those below them have no chance catching the pack.
